Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the services of SHP Shreveport Masonry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our masonry services. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

Services Provided

SHP Shreveport Masonry provides professional masonry services including but not limited to brick repair, chimney work, tuckpointing, retaining walls, patios, walkways, stone veneer installation, and foundation repair. All services are performed by licensed and insured professionals in accordance with local building codes and industry standards.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. Service availability may vary based on scheduling, weather conditions, and project requirements.

Estimates and Pricing

All estimates provided are based on the information available at the time of inspection. Final pricing may vary if additional work is discovered or if project scope changes. We will discuss any changes with you before proceeding with additional work.

Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided. Material costs and labor rates may change after this period. We require written approval before beginning any work.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your written estimate or contract. We typically require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due upon completion. Accepted payment methods include cash, check, and credit card.

Late payments may be subject to interest charges. We reserve the right to place a lien on the property for non-payment in accordance with Louisiana law.

Scheduling and Delays

We make every effort to complete projects on schedule. However, weather conditions, material availability, permit delays, and unforeseen complications may affect project timelines. We will notify you promptly of any anticipated delays.

You agree to provide reasonable access to the work site during scheduled work hours. Delays caused by lack of access or customer-requested changes may extend the project timeline.

Warranty and Guarantees

We stand behind our work and provide warranties on labor as specified in your contract. Material warranties are provided by the manufacturer. We will repair or replace defective workmanship within the warranty period at no additional cost.

Warranties do not cover damage caused by natural disasters, customer modifications, normal wear and tear, or failure to maintain the work as recommended.

Liability and Insurance

SHP Shreveport Masonry carries comprehensive liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. We take every precaution to protect your property during work. However, we are not liable for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or issues beyond the scope of the contracted work.

You agree to notify us immediately of any concerns or issues that arise during or after the project. We will work diligently to address legitimate concerns in a timely manner.

Permits and Compliance

We will obtain necessary permits when required by local regulations. Permit costs are typically included in your estimate unless otherwise noted. You are responsible for ensuring that the work complies with any homeowners association rules or deed restrictions.

Property Access and Safety

You agree to inform us of any hazards on the property including underground utilities, unstable structures, or hazardous materials. We may require you to secure pets during work hours for the safety of our crew and your animals.

Our work sites are off-limits to unauthorized persons. Please keep children and visitors away from active work areas for their safety.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
